- Your What's Growing Page Help
This is the page automatically built with the information you have entered elsewhere. Here, it lists all of your active varieties, sorted by category and crop. To make the page download quicker, the listings are collapsed by default. You can expand them by clicking on the
symbols. Likewise, you can collapse them down again by clicking on the
symbols.
When you are looking at the individual varieties, it shows the variety name as well as whether you marked it as Heirloom or Organic. Below that it shows what you've done with that variety:
- If you've not yet done anything, it shows "Scheduled for later planting."
- If you have direct seeded it, it shows "Planted!" and the quantity and date.
- If you have started seeds, it shows "Started in the greenhouse!" and the quantity and date.
- If you have transplanted seedlings, it shows "Transplanted!" and the quantity and date.
- If you have direct seeded or transplanted seedlings, it will show and expected harvest date, based on either:
- A scheduled harvest you have already entered, or
- The earliest recorded planting or transplanting date plus the average days to maturity for that variety.
- If you have harvested anything, it will display when you harvested, how much, and the public note you entered for that harvest.
- If you have indicated that you have harvested the last of the variety, it will show "Done for the season."
In addition to all that, it will also show the photo you have attached (or the default photo for that variety if you have not uploaded one of your own) and the full description for that variety. The photos and descriptions are collapsed by default, and can be viewed by clicking on the
symbol.
When you are logged in (as you are right now), you will also find shortcut links to enter seeding, starting, transplants, and harvests, as well as a link to edit the information about that variety.
This page shows everything we have growing (or plan to grow) this season. It will also show what work we've done with that variety, such as plantings, transplants, and harvests.
